Every second year the Department of Theoretical Physics at the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland, organizes International Conference of Theoretical Physics. The forthcoming 30th jubilee meeting will take place in September in Ustron, Poland. The conference will cover various topics related to the electron correlations in nano and macrosystems including:
  • Electronic properties of low dimensional systems
  • Superconductivity and magnetism at nanoscale
  • Transport phenomena in nanosystems
  • Quantum computation in nanosystems
  • Unconventional superconductivity
  • Inhomogeneous systems (cuprates, manganites, nickelates, etc.)
  • Frustrated quantum magnets
  • Non-Fermi liquid behavior and quantum criticality
  • Computational methods for strongly correlated systems

Conference chair: Maciej M. Maska
Local Organizing Committee: Elzbieta Zipper (vice-chair), Katarzyna Czajka, Jerzy Dajka, Mariusz Lisowski, Jerzy Luczka, Malgorzata Orlinska (secretary).
